Shipping container site deliveries are allocated 30 minutes for 20ft containers and 45 minutes for 40ft containers and modified containers for on-site attendance (excluding travel time).  It is very important that you, the customer, inform the Compass team, of the following delivery responsibilities:

1. Our Driver’s safety is paramount.  Please advise us of any dangerous materials, biohazards or other possible hazards to either health or person at the time of booking transport. 
2. If site induction is required, please advise us well in advance so that appropriate arrangements for induction can be made. 
3. The Customer’s access and road surface must be in acceptable condition for the truck to deliver the shipping container safely. Please consider any possible intermediary issues such a low level passes, bridges, access issues etc that the driver may encounter on the way to the Customer.
4. The Customer’s delivery site must be ready and prepared prior to delivery.
5. The Customer must inform transport regarding deliveries that will (or may) take longer than the allotted time so that transport can be appropriately scheduled for the day and a fair and appropriate time charge can be invoiced for the delivery.
6. Any deliveries extending over the allotted delivery time where transport has not been notified in advance, the customer will be responsible for an hourly charge of $135.00 (inc GST) payable to the driver onsite.
7. Any trucks that become bogged or damaged because of misinformation received from the customer, the customer will be responsible for all truck towing and repair costs.
8. Compass Containers or the driver on-site reserves the right to terminate delivery of a container if at any time the driver considers their safety or that of the truck could be compromised by continuing.
