Compass+ is to be the leader in the manufacturing and supply of bespoke Australian made shipping containers. We recognise the importance of managing our supply chain to ensure the goods and service we purchase are provided in a means consistent with our values.
The Compass+ Supplier Code of Conduct defines Compass+ minimum standards and expectations in our business relationships.
Compass+ is committed to the highest ethical standards in business transactions and expects our suppliers to align to the same standards. We require all of our suppliers, whether direct or indirect, to conduct themselves in accordance with the essence of this code. Working together, practicing honesty, integrity and fairness, in compliance with this code and any relevant laws and regulations.
Over and above any contractual arrangements, supplier’s responsibilities extend to following these requirements in conducting business:
Human Rights – Human rights, liberty and security must not be violated, including inhumane treatment abuse or coercion of any kind.
Child Labour – Must not engage workers younger than the local legal minimum age.
Forced Labour – Will not use any form of forced, bonded, coerced, or slave labour.
Health and Safety – Will take all practicable and reasonable measures to provide a safe working environment and comply with applicable laws pertaining to health and safety in the workplace.
Wages and Conditions – Will fairly compensate workers in compliance with local laws. Working hours will not exceed the legally accepted maximum and the workplace will be maintained in a safe and hygienic manner.
Environmental – Actively manage and strive to reduce the environmental impact of operations.
Compass+ reserves the right to assess conformance to this Code of Conduct. Upon request, suppliers should provide information to enable Compass+, or its appointed representative, to assess conformance.
Suppliers can raise concerns about any actual or suspected breach of this code directly with their Compass+ point of contact.
