Environmental
At Compass+ we seek continual improvement in our environmental performance and we seek to identify opportunities to minimise any direct or indirect environmental risk or impact resultant from the use of our products, services and facilities. Our Environmental Impact Policy requires that all business decision-making and actions are driven by an assessment of environmental issues like:

  • Efficient energy consumption
  • Minimal use of hazardous substances
  • Responsible disposal of hazardous waste
  • Sustainability of resources
  • Potential impact of climate change (locally & globally)

First Nations Engagement
Across all Compass+ divisions, we are committed to engaging in and maintaining positive, long term, trusting relationships with all first nation communities within the areas in which we operate. We acknowledge and respect the historical and ongoing Aboriginal connection to country through cultural and spiritual sites, language and ceremony.
Compass+ has operational, training, employment and sponsorship policies in place that promote engagement with the Aboriginal community and encourage awareness of cultural perspectives.

Ethical Sourcing
Our supply partners are a critical part of our business, so it is important we select suppliers that align with our social responsibility ethics.
At Compass+, have high expectations of our suppliers and these are communicated in our Ethical Trading & Sourcing Policy. Built on the principles of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) and International Labour Organisation (ILO) Conventions, the Compass+ Policy reflects our corporate commitment to the responsible sourcing of goods and services. The Compass+ Ethical Trading & Sourcing Policy covers principles such as:

  • Business Integrity
  • Minimum employment requirements
  • Child Labour
  • Adherence to local laws
  • Anti-bribery
  • Environmental standards

Modern Slavery
We reject any and all  forms of modern slavery such as slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour.
Through our Modern Slavery Policy, Compass+ has implemented strict protocols (including annual reviews) which are aimed to identify and manage risks related to human rights across our business and throughout our supply chain. The policy includes measures to raise awareness and to ensure it does not occur in our business and supply partners.
